Homily: Am I Dead... or Alive in Faith?

Reflecting on the account of Christ's raising of the young man in Luke 7:11-16, Fr. Thomas instructs us that the dead man represents all of us who are spiritually dead, who do not pray, and who leave behind the illumination of Christ and the Holy Spirit as soon as we depart from the Divine Liturgy. As the 'feet of Christ' in the world, we are exhorted to be alive, active, and striving to retain our spiritual illumination in prayer and love.
